Weight Watchers Smart Ones Oven-Roasted Chicken
Weight Watchers Smart Ones Oven-Roasted Chicken was absolutely delish! I was definitely impressed. The chicken, or as they described it, "juicy tenderloins" was indeed juicy. The "light glaze" or as I like to call it, sauce, was good, and tasted similar to a very mild sweet and sour sauce, and the rice and vegetable medley was also on point. The price was reasonable when compared to other frozen dinners, and I was left feeling satisfied after eating this.
Each Weight Watchers Smart Ones Oven-Roasted Chicken provides 260 calories and 6 grams of fat, with only 1 gram coming from saturated fat, are excellent for a complete meal. But reading the label more carefully revealed a few nutritional concerns. The 30 mg of cholesterol and the 770 mg of sodium is not a good combination for people with hypertension (high blood pressure).
I bought this on sale for $1.99, and while I loved the taste, the amount of sodium in it is just too high for me to justify buying this again. Frozen dinners tend to have a lot of sodium (anywhere from 20-30%) but this is on the higher end.
