Weight Watchers Smart Ones Spicy Szechuan Style Vegetables & Chicken
Weight Watchers Spicy Szechuan Style Vegetables & Chicken consists of lo mein pasta with chicken, a flavorful sauce and lots of vegetables. The chicken pieces were indeed 'small bits' and not chunks that we may be used to seeing, but there were quite a few pieces. There was plenty of vegetables but it's when you mix everything together that the meal really takes on a wonderful taste. It was slightly spicy, but the heat factor was manageable by people who are not into very spicy food (like myself).
Nutritionally, there are only 220 calories and an added bonus of 4 grams of fiber which is 16% of the recommended daily amount - I was very pleased. Not so pleasing, was the 890 mg of sodium (37% of the RDA). There is also 5 grams of fat (8% of the RDA), 1 gram of saturated fat (4% of the RDA),11 grams of protein and 5 grams of sugar.
The meal was quite filling and the price was very reasonable at around $2.50 for a 9 ounce sized meal. Weight Watchers has really been coming out with some wonderful, easy to prepare meals, and I would recommend this brand to anyone, whether you're on a diet or not.
