Healthy Choice Blackened Chicken

Healthy Choice Blackened Chicken includes blackened chicken sitting on a fire roasted pepper sauce, seasoned rice and an apple praline crisp dessert. This meal was surprisingly good. I thought the best thing about it was the chicken was a little spicy - but not too much. The seasoned rice was also very good and the sauce complimented it well to give it extra body from all those diced red peppers, corn and black beans. Actually, I thought the sauce could have been more spicy and was probably a bit of a let down. Still, I enjoyed this meal and I think this is one of the better ones from Healthy Choice.. HC also included a sweet apple praline crisp dessert. The 'crisp' tasted like oats, and was on top of a creamy apple sauce with apple pieces. This 'crisp' and the apple sauce mixed together was good and tasty. The 'crisp' and no sauce - no good.
Healthy Choice Blackened Chicken has only 300 calories, 15 g sugar and 600 mg sodium (25% RDA). Not bad for a meal that's entirely filling. Overall, this was very good and left me full, and the price wasn't bad at $2.50.

Healthy choice are my favorite frozen meals. They are good value. I didnt feel that this one was too spicey.
