WholeSoy & Co. Creamy Cultured Soy
It looks like yogurt, smells like yogurt (mostly) and tastes ... well it tastes kinda like yogurt. You can tell it's not really the 'real deal' but this was a surprisingly good alternative. I was impressed. My expectations weren't very high for this product, but it's really pretty good. It's made from all organic ingredients too. I had the Raspberry flavor. It had a creamy texture and tasted of raspberries. But, what is the advantage of this product over regular yogurt. Hmmm... in the 6 oz serving of this product, there are 150 calories, 15 g of sugar, 3 g of fat (no saturated), no cholesterol but not much vitamins either. You all know how much I love Yoplait Light reviewed -->here which has only 100 calories, no fat, no cholesterol, 14 g of sugar, and a little vitamin A, D and throw in some calcium. I think I'm sticking with Yoplait Light! which is also little cheaper than the creamy cultured soy which costs almost $2.00 for one 6oz container.
Overall, the cultured soy is not really healthier than the light yogurts being offered, and doesn't have any vitamins and minerals and is more expensive. However, if for some reason you can't/won't have real yogurt, then the taste of this product is not too bad making it a suitable alternative.
