To the person who wanted to know where to get a-hold of the veggie bacon, Wal-mart sells it!and its awesome i love it:) and im not a veggitarian either haha!

can anyone tell me where to buy morning star bacon in the uk. We cannot find it anywhere.

did anyone find where to get this in the UK. Sainsbury's used to sell it but its been off the shelves for 6 months.

btw, i don't agree with the review - cooked right this tastes great adn we serve it to guests in our veggie B&B and it always goes down well.

I too have been looking in the UK for stocks as Sainsbury's, Tesco and Morrisons seem to have removed it. Most replacing with their own versions which aren't as good.

morningstar bacon is genetically modified so nowhere in the uk will sell it

I love this veggie Bacon, I am a Vegetarian but the rest of my family eats meat. They love this veggie bacon and it is hard to get their approval on my veggie products that I eat. You may have cooked it wrong??

We love this bacon. all the taste in a BLT without the murder scene.

The veggie bacon strips are AWESOME! Cook them in the microwave a minute longer until they are darker. They are crunchy, and taste like well done bacon! I've been eating them for years, and I'm a tough crowd to please. Also, the chikn patties are awesome as well. All who say these aren't meat replacements, have NO taste, and I mean that qutie literally!

I looked up this one to see if your reviews were reliable, and you've proven it here. I'm 21 now, I had MF Veggie Strips when I was about 10 or 11, and I still remember how horrible they were. My mother called them 'Beggin Strips', after the faux bacon for dogs, but I'm pretty sure you couldn't pass this stuff off on my faithful sheepdog, Spike (R.I.P.). Even Paris's pocket puppy would know better. If ya'll commenters think that this is an adequate substitute, more power to you, but you obviously haven't eaten or seen actual bacon in a long time -- not that that's a bad thing.

I am a vegetarian and my boyfriend is not. Not only is he not a vegetarian, he is a die-hard bacon lover. That said, we BOTH love this bacon. We both think it's very bacon-like in smell and taste, and even to some degree in texture. We also both think that Smart Bacon is revolting and doesn't hold a candle to Morningstar bacon.

I love this 'bacon'. Every morning when I cook it up at the office my co-workers yell at me because it makes them hungry. They think it smells like real bacon!

Morningstar Bacon is AMAZING! Everyone I know ( Vegetarian or not) loves this bacon. SmartBacon, in my opinion, tastes and smells like an old can of dog food. Gross.

I discovered this veggie "bacon" at a veggie restaurant. I ordered a veggie BLT in a croissant, and it was delicious! I couldn't get enough of it. I asked what they used, and they said Morningstar. So...if you don't like it plain, try it as a BLT. Add avocado for an extra treat! It has all the flavors of a real BLT! You have to cook it right. Microwave is best.

Because it does really smell like bacon, I like to keep it around and cook some ocassionally. I enjoy it in my BLTs and my dog goes crazy for nibbles of it.

This is my fave veggie 'bacon' ,,, I cook it until it's crispy.. it tastes like bacon to me.
