Kashi GoLean Crunch Cereal
Kashi is one company that seems to be successful making and marketing healthy products. The Kashi GoLean Crunch Cereal is definitely a hit. It is a toasted whole grain cereal with soy. This breakfast cereal tastes great! It has a granola type effect, meaning it's sweet and crunchy - very crunchy, so let the milk be absorbed for a minute or so, or your jaw will have a pretty good workout. Another good thing about this cereal is that it tastes great on it's own, as a snack or as a topping for yogurt.
Where Kashi GoLean Crunch really excels is with the combination of the great taste and excellent nutrition. It provides 8g of fiber (32% of your daily requirement), which is so far one of the best sources of fiber that I have come across in any type of product. It also tastes as sweet as Frosted Flakes, but with only 13g of sugar, most of which comes from honey used to naturally sweeten the cereal. Add to that 9g of protein from soy. The only drawback is the price at approximately $3.50 a box, but its worth it.

I love Kashi too! But $3/box sounds good to me. In NY, regular cereal retails for about $5 a box. $5!
You can often by Go Lean Crunch at Costco for $5 (for 2 boxes) in Central Virginia.
190 calories is still way too high for cereal.
its a great cereal to fill ur stomach for long hours
36 calories come from protein.
27 from fat.
32 from fiber.
So 85 calories from stuff that should be in your diet, 52 from sugar, and the rest is complex carbohydrates.
As far as breakfast is concerned it's not bad at all. And, of course, it's NA-TU-RAL.
For a limited time you can get a free sample of Go Lean Crunch at Kashi.com!
I lost 25 pounds between Oct 2006 and March 2007, and I've kept it off. Kashi Go Lean and Go Lean Crunch were part of that, adding fiber and protein I've been hard pressed to find in other cereals.
For breakfast I eat one cup of Kashi cereal with soy milk and fruit, six egg whites, a protein shake, and a fruit smoothie (yum). Because I work out five times a week, I am STARVING within three hours.
For me it works and I've become Kashi cereal believer.
they have the kashi golean cereal with flaxseed. it's even BETTER.

This product was recommended thru my nutrionalist at my gym. Since she is certified I trust her judgement immensely. The pros of this product far outweigh the cons. The taste and the natural products make for creating a *full* feeling. Which I need to get thru my diet regime.
I absolutly LOVE this cereal! The combination of sweetness and crunch is perfect. I mix in yogurt, eat it for breakfast, or just eat handfuls of it. The amount of fiber is fantastic- I can feel good about eating it
I'm not a huge fan of granola-ish cereals, but I've read so many good things about this one! I haven't, however, been able to find much about the original GoLean cereal. Anyone have a good/bad experience with it?
Thanks!
The Original Go Lean is pretty plain that's the only thing I would say that's bad about it;just add some fruit and it's fine, and very nutritious.
Thanks for the reply! I'll have to give it a try then. :)
This is the worst crap I have ever eaten.
I always eat the original go lean since it has less fat and more protein then the crunch. I add raisins to it and sometimes a little honey to jazz it up! I can't believe a cereal offers so much fiber and protein at such few calories and fat. This cereal rocks!!
i love this stuff, but i refer to it as "Gas-shi". Enough said.
I recently purchased kashi crunch only to find the contents were NOT kashi crunch! I have used this product for over 3 years and NEVER had this happen before!
i am doing a debat on Kashi compared to other cereal brands. i am supposed to say how i am for Kashi and want to be considered a monopoly.. can someone give me some input?
