Boca Soy Smoked Sausages

You would think it would taste just as good as other Boca products like Boca Burgers, which I absolutely adore, but don't be fooled. This literally tastes like cardboard! I tried boiling it, frying it, adding loads of toppings, but nothing makes it taste good. Don't waste the $2.50. It's truly horrible. I'm truly disappointed in Boca, because I generally love their products.

u must be a meat eater then...if ur a vegan they taste very good.
I am a veg, and I have come to the general conclusion that the links of fake meat are usually not good. However, I urge you to review some pattie sausages, as I personally have come across many that are very delish. Though, usually links are better in fat and calorie values; I guess you need more oil to hold a pattie together than something in a "casing," meat or otherwize.
its a few years later here, but I like them... the picture link is of the italian sausage. BUT I can tell you that the Boca Smoked Sausage is delicious.
I absolutely love Boca smoked sausages. I am a meat eater and I still love the taste of them. What's up with this review?
I tried this and LOVED it. I bought the last five boxes WalMart had and now they won't carry it.
I have tried to order it online to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions. I cannot find it anywhere within a 50 mile radius and I cannot get local grocers to order it.
I am willing to pay the extra for dry ice and overnight shipping. I just need to find somewhere to order it from. If anyone has any ideas, please email me at met5473@yahoo.com! -Mary
Mary...that goes for my vegetarian sister and I. We both loved the smoked sausage and got them at WalMart or Kroger and now they no longer carry it...only the (just ok) Italian and Brats but not the wonderful smoked sausage. We've talked with the grocer and the health food shop and they said they can't order it either. I did email Kraft...which now owns Boca and I hope to get a response this week.

Hi Mary & Hope. I saw your earlier post about Boca Smoked Sausage and I also wanted to know if you were able to find out how to order them. I tried for many years to order them from Boca and other locations - to no avail. I would really like to find them again and stock up!
These taste nothing like cardboard. I actually was almost scared to eat them the first time I bought them because they were so meat like. It even has something that resembles the little white fat chunks you see in a meat smoked sausage. These taste delicious. I can feed them to my meating husband with no complaints at all, they really can fool a meat eater.
