Boca Soy Burgers
I don't eat beef, ground beef especially and I was tired of missing out on hamburgers at those many summer bar-b-ques, so I tried these tasty soy burgers and I was hooked! They taste pretty darn close to 'beef' burgers just without all the fat dripping off the grill. Of course, they come already pre-formed i.e. shaped, so you won't be able to make those monster thick burgers, but if you're a 'throw on the burger on the grill' type of person, then this is a good choice.
One burger is 80 calories with 0 calories from fat! I didn't grill mine, instead I sauteed in a little olive oil in a skillet, and then topped it with lettuce and tomatoes. It takes about 10 minutes to prepare an entire meal! It might not taste exactly like beef burgers, and it's not as juicy, but it is a great alternative. Sometimes I'll eat only one with some salad, but more often than not I'll eat two for dinner and I'm totally full. A box of 4 costs approximately $2.50 (on sale at Walmart - $3.50 regularly) so it's not that expensive but it costs more than regular beef burgers.

I like boca burgers but flame-grilled gardenburgers (and the flame-grilled "chicken" patties) are even better, in my opinion. They're so good that I eat them without a bun!
Boca makes an excellent burger...plus they have a sausage burger that tastes very close to the sausage patty.
I've tried most of the commercially available vegeburgers, and have made many of my own from scratch. Hands down, Bocaburgers are the best of them all!
