Healthy Foodie Favorite Products of 2009 from Tasty Health Food

We asked some of our favorite food bloggers to share with us their 5 Favorite Food Products of 2009.

Tasty Health Food is a blog dedicated to finding the healthiest food out there that tastes the best and is diet-friendly. You can look forward to product reviews, recipes, junk food alternatives, and lots more.

Fave Healthier Food Finds from 2009:
  • Zevia. So you're craving that ice cold Diet Coke chilling in the fridge, but you don't want all of the aspartame that comes along with it. Zevia is a perfect alternative since this carbonated deliciousness is sweetened with Stevia. Zevia comes in 6 flavors with a 7th Dr. Pepper spin off coming soon! I can't say I'm not excited .

  • Applegate Farms Turkey Hot Dogs. I've never eaten pork or beef in my life and I always get so envious of everyone eating juicy hot dogs at summer parties ... until I found these beauties! They aren't as chewy as people have told me beef hot dogs are, but I actually like that. Applegates uses minimal processing and each hot dog is only 40 calories each (50 if you buy organic). That's a nice calorie deal.

  • Fage 0% Greek Yogurt. This yogurt is creamy, thick, and delicious. It tastes just as good as any other full fat Greek yogurt except it's NOT. And only 90 calories for a 6 ounce container, compared to the high 200s I've seen in other brands and companies. I always add a little something to mine, like honey, Truvia, Jam, or cereal.

  • VitaBrownies. We all know that brownies aren't exactly the healthiest food you can conjure up, but the Vitalicious company is dedicated to making the most delicious baked goods you can have without breaking your healthy diet.

  • Stonyfield Farms YoKids Squeezers. I remember eating these when I was little and rediscovered them at my local Whole Foods recently. Sometimes it can be hard to pack easy snacks for on the go, and we all know carrying around containers of yogurt isn't too practical (although still do-able). These yummy things are just like GoGurts, except better ingredients and only 60 calories a tube.
