Odwalla Super Protein Bar
Venture into any supermarket, health food or convenience store and you're sure to find practically an entire aisle dedicated to nutrition/ energy bars. With so many different brands, flavors, and health benefits boasted on each bar's label, trying to decide which one to buy can certainly be overwhelming - especially if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies. But my journey to find the "perfect" nutrition bar ended when I discovered the Odwalla Super Protein Bar.
After reading the eye catching label carefully, I was pleasantly surprised that all of the ingredients were identifiable, natural and many were organic (some other nutrition bars are basically made up of chemicals, artificial flavors and other additives), so I decided to give it a try. It has a very dense, chewy texture, and each bite is filled with pieces of whole-grain oats and sweet raisins. I found this bar not only delicious, but VERY filling and satisfying as well - perfect for a quick breakfast, post-workout snack, or for any other time of the day.

PowerBar Harvest Whole Grain Bars come fully loaded - loaded with protein (10 grams) and loaded with fiber (20% of the RDA). While there are bars out there with either more fiber (FiberOne and Gnu Bars), or more protein (ThinkThin bars), there are few that can boast that they have a combination of both.
I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip PowerBar. It was chewy yet firm and crunchy from the whole grains, and there were chocolate chips in every bite that. I really didn't detect much of a peanut butter flavor however, but that's okay because I don't like peanut butter much anyway - but if you do, take note.
