SweetRiot All Natural Dark Cacao Nibs

SweetRiot All Natural Dark Cacao Nibs

I love chocolate, but it's dangerously addictive. Whenever I buy a chocolate bar, I always find that, despite my best efforts, it's gone within a matter of hours (if not minutes)! For this reason, I generally don't buy chocolate bars too often. But why should I deprive myself of this delicious treat, especially with all the health benefits of antioxidant-rich dark chocolate? If you're like me, then you might want to check out SweetRiot All Natural Dark Cacao Nibs.

Each tin of SweetRiot chocolate is filled with "100% Dark Cacao Nibs Covered in Dark Chocolate." This all-natural treat is a perfect alternative to plain chocolate bars - it's fun to eat, comes in three fun flavors (flavor 50, flavor 65, and flavor 70, with increasing proportions of dark chocolate). In case you've never experienced the pleasure of eating a cocoa nib before, it's actually roasted cocoa beans with a really subtle chocolate taste and flavor - think a small, bitter piece of chocolate. Make them covered with chocolate, like SweetRiot did - and you'll have a little piece of heaven. While there is still a lot of saturated fat, as with other chocolate treats, I find that I'll eat less of these small baby nibs as a treat.

Each portion-controlled tin of SweetRiot All Natural Dark Cacao Nibs provides 140 calories, 11-12 grams of fat (17%-18% of the daily value, 30%-35% of the DV of saturated fat and 6-10 grams of sugars. The ingredients are cacao mass, sugar, cacao beans, cacao butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla, glazing agent, and lovin' (source). This is all-natural, gmo-free, dairy-free, kosher and gluten-free.

At $3.99 per tin, this is definitely a pricey treat, but for an occasional delicious, do-gooder snack (the company partners with several organizations that "celebrate young people and culture and diversity"), this a definite hit!
