Still sick but feeling much better. After last weekend's snackathon, this week is about redeeming myself and today was off to a great start. Breakfast. The usual Quaker Old Fashioned Oatmeal (1 cup) with 1 banana as per Susan's suggestion (although I haven't tried it yet with cottage cheese). AM Snack. Nothing, wasn't hungry till lunch time. PM Snack. Right before the gym I had the last Nature's Path Organic Optimum Energy Bar (Orange Chocolate) that I found on sale.
Dinner. Baked Chicken, Baked Sweet Potato & Green Beans (sauteed in olive oil & garlic). This was so tasty and so healthy! Sweet potato has a low glycemic index, plus the nutrition stats are out of this World! Late Snack. 1 glass of Beringer California Chardonnay (2007) and Pop Weaver Light Butter Popcorn (nutrition facts) - I had 2 cups.

Alison said: Actually, my mistake, it has 250 total, because it has 2.5 servings of 5 cups each serving (100 cals per serving)

Do you use a cup of oats raw or is that a cup cooked?
