Let's call this The Weekend Edition. Weekends are where I kinda go crazy - especially since the boyfriend is always trying to order something to eat. Saturday. When I woke up my throat was "raw & scratchy." I had a full blown cold and it was hard to swallow. I started the morning chewing Halls Cough Drops, gargling with salt water & thinking about going to the doctor. All that made me feel crappy and I skipped breakfast - swallowing was the last thing I felt like doing. Early lunch. I was hungry around 11 AM, so I decided a big meal was in order. I had a left over Pork Chop from Wednesday (115 grams - I knew I cooked too much), 1 slice of Arnold Grains & More Double Protein Bread (nothing on it) and fried plantains (fried in 2 Tbsp vegetable oil and I had 45 grams - 6 pieces). Here are the nutrition facts - I estimate this serving to be about 55 calories.
Throughout the day, I finished off a 42 ounce bottle of Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng. When I was trying to kick my soda habit, I had this all the time! Now, I mostly stick to water, but sometimes I want something more with more flavor. Can you believe this 42 ounce bottle was only $1.25! PM Snack. I finished off the rest of the plantains with 2 chicken wings left over from Friday. Guess my throat was feeling better because I was feeling like eating everything in sight. Dinner & Late Snack: Same thing as lunch - I did not feel like cooking at all! And then I finished off the night with Pop Weaver Light Butter Popcorn and an Orange. Sunday. Ughh I felt even worse than Saturday!
AM Snack/ Lunch. Fruit salad with grapes & strawberries AND * confession time * another slice of cheese of Arnold Grains & More Double Protein Bread toasted and topped with 1 slice of Muenster cheese (yes I paid for this cheese-a-licious weekend with stomach cramps later). PM Snack. Sage Valley Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips with Pace Picante Sauce (Medium) (1 serving). Totally love Pace - I might be slightly addicted!
Dinner. Vegetable fried rice (3/4 cup) with chicken strips (6 pieces). Late Snack. Pop Weaver Light Butter Popcorn and an Orange - same as Saturday night. Clearly I need to work on my weekend eating habits. Bloggy Giveaways
