Every Friday it's New Product Notes time. These are the new food products with a nutritional claim that are launching or due to be launched very soon, and that go into my line-up of products I want to review here on Iateapie.net.
Kashi Bakes. A new frozen entree which combines Kashi`s CLIF Quench. A new sport drink from the makers of Clif and Lunabars. Clif Quench will arrive on shelves in June 2009, and comes in four Fruit Punch, Orange, Lime-Ade and Strawberry Citrus - all made with all natural and 88% organic ingredients. CLIF Builder's Bar. New Lemon flavor. Builder's bars have 20 grams of soy and nut protein. The new Lemon flavor will appear in grocery and natural food stores beginning in June, 2009. Clif Bar. New bakery-inspired flavor: Cranberry Orange Nut Bread. This holiday-inspired new seasonal flavor will debut in Fall 2009 and be available for a limited time. Lunabar. New recipe with an enhanced vitamin blend including the addition of vitamin D, as well as new packaging in celebration of its 10-year anniversary. Debuting in May 2009. Dr. Praeger's Sensible Foods. 4 new frozen food products: California Veggie Pockets, Tex Mex Veggie Pockets, Falafel Flats and Burrito Bites. All of the new products are free of saturated and trans fat, cholesterol, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), artificial flavorings, colors and preservatives. The products are a good source of fiber and certified Kosher. All Sport Naturally Zero. Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (DPSG) and All Sport, Inc. are launching what they say is the first 0-calorie sports drink sweetened with Rebiana, a "natural" sweetener derived from the stevia plant. SoBe Lifewater. There are 3 new flavors, Black and Blue Berry, Fuji Apple Pear and Yumberry Pomegranate , all sweetened with PureVia, a "natural" sweetener made from the leaves of the Stevia plant and produced in collaboration between PepsiCo and Whole Earth Sweetener.

The Kashi Mayan Harvest Bake looks pretty good, but I'm not much into frozen dinners. Still, I try to keep a couple of eatmergencies.
