Dentyne sent me an email in response to my query about what happened, and they said, "Unfortunately, Dentyne Blast Chocomint has been discontinued due to low consumer demand." If you love it and can find still find it somewhere, I suggest you stock up. And why not contact Dentyne via their website and let them know how much you loved this product. Who knows, maybe enough people will show outrage that they have taken away your chocolate gum fix that they will bring it back. This seemed to help make Tropicana bring back their old orange juice carton packaging design.
