ConAgra Foods has announced that changes are afoot for its frozen foods division, with meatless varieties of Healthy Choice frozen meals, bolder packaging and steam-heated microwave meals in its Marie Callender's line.
We knew something was about to happen when we spotted this new package design in January. ConAgra says that a marketing campaign to support Healthy Choice will be launched on March 30, 2009. Banquet frozen meals have been reworked to keep the price at about $1 while not compromising their quality - uhhhh ... we call it, DietTrash around here. Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers were the best-selling food and beverage product in the industry in the first half of 2008, said Chief Executive Gary Rodkin.
