Stevia Extract In The Raw gets its delicious, natural sweetness from Rebiana (aka Reb-A) - an extract from the Stevia plant. This extract is the sweetest part of the plant and has recently been isolated to provide pure sweetening power without the licorice-like aftertaste that many of our predecessors exhibited. All you get is the sweet flavor without any calories. Stevia in the Raw is available in boxes of 50, 1 gram packets and is available in stores (view list on the website), or online.

PattiKay said: "Stevia In the Raw"'s FIRST ingredient is listed as DEXTROSE, not Stevia, with a STEVIA EXTRACT. So, this is NOT 100% "in the raw" Stevia. Instead it is only 100% sweetner. Who knows what the actual percentage of Stevia really is?? I think this is deceptive advertising. I returned my box of In the Raw Stevia and got another brand that was 100% Stevia.

If you cannot find it in your local grocery store, you can purchase it online. That's how I buy it. Just check out their site - www.steviaextractintheraw.com |

Stevia without that awful aftertaste? Now that sounds promising. I didn't have a good experience when I tried this before (one of the predecessors) but if they've gotten rid of that awful aftertaste, I'm willing to try it again... this brand anyway.
