Pepperidge Farm Chicken Pot PieI called, Pepperidge Farm Original Flaky Crust Roasted Chicken Pot Pie, DietTrash but that didn't stop readers from asking me what happened to them when they couldn't find it. Unfortuntely for these people, it seems this product has been discontinued - and I can't say I'm sad to see it go. Elaine left a comment to let us know:

Well some really bad news for all of us folks who enjoy the Pepperidge Farm Pot Pies. Just rec'd an answer as to why we haven't been able to find them on our supermarket shelves. Here is what they have to say:

We received your message and appreciate your taking the time to contact Pepperidge Farm about our Pepperidge Farm Chicken and Turkey Pot Pies. Unfortunately, we no longer offer our Pot Pies. Pepperidge Farm frequently introduces new products to satisfy consumer tastes for new flavors and variety. However, most supermarkets only have space for a certain number of Pepperidge Farm products, so we periodically must review the sales levels of our various items and make the tough decision to discontinue low selling products.

If anyone knows of any healthier, tasty Pot Pies, please help these people out by leaving a comment! We weren't fond of Amy's Non-Dairy Vegetable Pot Pie, which received a 1 out of 5 rating, although Jenny H and Sarah commented that they like 'em. Elizabeth Craig commented that she's a fan of Amy's Vegetarian Tamale Pie.

AHHH I can't help but to roll over and laugh about this. Not just for the fact that an insanelt unhealthy product is gone, but because their reply brought back so many memories. When I was 10 years old, or somewhere around that age, I was in LOVE with their chocolate goldfish crackers. I was so upset when I couldn't find them in stores anymore, and I wrote them a letter and asked them about it (this was before email days obviously lol). They sent me a letter back saying that they were sorry they had to discontinue them, and gave the same spiel about having to remove less popular products to make room for new ones. They closed their letter with, "I hope you continue to enjoy our newst products.." blah blah blah. lol I was so disheartened I pretty much boycotted them. But now the chocolate fishies have made a come back, and I am happy. :) lmao The End!
